THE LISTENERS

This is a series of drawings in ink on paper done over a 9 month period in Berlin where every Tuesday morning I attended colloquia (lectures & discussions) on various topics, mostly scientific. During the course of the colloquia, I documented the other attendees or "listeners" through drawing. I was fascinated at how the backs of people, their attitudes while listening, could be as informative as their front views.
