MURALS

Following is a mural that was designed to both decorate a shallow-domed ceiling and disguise the fact that that the edges of the dome were uneven. I decided to solve that issue by making the edges more uneven, as if a giant hand came and lifted the roof off, exposing the structure of the roof.  The subject matter - the angels - were what the client wanted and were inspired by the Rococo artist, Tiepolo.

Student Murals

For ten years I taught Studio Art and Art History at high school level in Ireland. It was a new building with clean walls, so very year I led the 10th grade class in a mural project. Unfortunately I wasn't as diligent in those days about keeping a photographic record and when I did, my photo skills weren't 100%. Following are some of those murals.
